The Manufactured Housing Association of Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports that according to official statistics compiled on behalf of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Hud Code manufactured housing industry year-over-year production declined slightly in May 2025. Just released statistics indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 9,281 new homes in May 2025, a 1.39% decrease from the 9,408 new HUD Code homes produced in May 2024. Cumulative production for 2025 now totals 44,923 new HUD Code homes, as compared with 42,656 over the same period in 2024, a 5.3% increase.
