Year-to-date 2025 shipments totaled 70,757, an increase of 3.2.% The seasonally adjusted year-over-year annual rate of shipments totalled 104,191, a 0.7% increase year over year for the same period.
Monthly Manufactured Housing Production: August production was down 8.5% year over year.
Monthly Manufactured Housing Shipments: In August 2025, single-section shipments were down 0.3% year to date.
Annual Rate of Shipments: The seasonally adjusted annual rate of shipments (SAAR) was 104,191 (higher than 2924.
Regional Performance: 3 of 9 divisions across the country experienced shipment growth from August 2024 to August 2025. The divisions with the largest year-to-date percentage increase in shipments were: New England (11 homes: 6.2% year-over-year increase. Pacific (19 homes; 3.8% increase, and East North Central (27 homes: 3.15% year-over-year increase.
The current manufactured housing landscape includes 151 plants and 39 manufacturers. Two new plants opened in August – Sweet-Haus Cabins in Chesnee, SC, and BG Manufacturing in Brilliant, Alabama. One plant closed: Luxy Homes in Ravenna, OH.
